Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy with Adults

I offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), the use of ketamine as a complement to psychotherapy. I deliver KAP in my practice in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical. They have a specialized medical team that determines eligibility for KAP, prescribes the ketamine, and supports us in monitoring outcomes.

While therapy can be very effective and profound, some people still struggle to find relief. In these cases, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy can be helpful. KAP is a treatment that involves using ketamine to help individuals work through various mental and emotional challenges. Recent research has shown KAP to be successful in treating depression, addiction, suicidality, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Ketamine helps to soften the defenses that often arise when trying to address painful emotions and experiences. Following the KAP session, we are able to process what arises in the session and make meaning of the experience. We will have preparation sessions prior to the KAP session and integration sessions after the KAP session to further support the benefits of the work. In my practice, I have witnessed profound shifts, insights, and relief for my clients.

If you would like to explore the possibility of working with KAP, please use my contact link to discuss eligibility and next steps.

Pay has harmonized the essential ingredients of ‘good therapy’- therapy that transforms. His gentle, empathic approach is buttressed by an unwavering directness. His theoretical knowledge is balanced by an ancient, intuitive wisdom, culled over many years and across various settings. When working with Pay, one feels the presence of a learned soul, a trusted friend and confidant whose purpose is to help cultivate the kind of understanding and insight that leads one closer to one’s goals. I cannot recommend Pay Rose highly enough.
